This policy explains how the mobile application Goose's Quack Lab ("the app", "we") handles your information. The app is a tool for designing and analysing cocktails. We built it to work almost entirely on your device, and we keep data collection to the absolute minimum.
The following are saved locally on your device (in the app's own storage) and are not transmitted to us:
You can export this data to a file yourself (Library → "Back up my data") and restore it. If you uninstall the app or clear its data, this information is deleted.
This feature does not send anything anywhere. It simply generates a text prompt for you to copy or download. If you choose to paste that prompt into a separate AI product (such as Claude), that is your own use of that third-party service, governed by that provider's terms and privacy policy. The app only reads the text you paste back in.
The app requests Internet access. This is used only for the access-code check described above, for Google Play purchases, and for the app's own resources. The app does not access your contacts, location, camera or microphone. It only reads a file when you explicitly choose one — a backup file you save or open, or a photo you attach to one of your recipes. Any photo you add is stored on your device and is never uploaded.
Goose's Quack Lab concerns alcoholic beverages and is intended for adults of legal drinking age. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the legal drinking age.
We do not sell your data and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We do not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs.
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and the version published with the app.
